Spam & Network Marketing

Ok, I fired my boss, so now I''m in front of my self...

So we have to learn some details about it.

It's really gratifying to know that in my network, there is a lot of interesting people... some of them, and this is the way Network Marketing works, I don't even know them or don't speak neither English or Spanish.. so hopefully a good Samaritan can convey this great note that got into my e-mail from Spain, from Victoria Paramo, who is jumping out as a leader, and I'm gladly watching her developing and makes evident how interesting is Network Marketing, where you learn a lot from your downlines as well.

So is well said: when the pupil is ready, the teacher shows up!

So here I share this note sent by Victoria:

-QUOTE BEGINS-
"THE OTHER SPAM"

We've heard a lot about the main importance on your internet business, your starting point, to build your list, right?

A list of people interested in your friendship offer, who you'll be in contact to build trust in your relationship, and who knows, down the road, some time later, they might join your business.

Network Marketing is a people business, and not a car pieces business. We work with people, without them becomes impossible to build a team. We know that already. But it's lifeblood to have prospects to share our business.

Nevertheless, some people decided to introduce their business investing not a single cent in marketing. Interesting point, if they just don't do it using that technique!

This is the point:

You have a web page where you offer your business. A site you might publish in Google Adwords, paying your advertising, or using a free site. In your page, you have a register form where interested guests can ask for more free information. So far so good.

So, these Network Marketing "artists" sign up to your site, but not to know your proposal, rather, once signed up, they think they have the right to raid you with their own business offers, presentations and invitations to webcasts.

And you haven't ask for it, however they send you information, you like it or not.

That's nasty. They spam you.

And worst; if you ask them to stop sending you messages, some are offended, and send you even more no solicited messages, bragging their last try outs. "Well, my company is better than yours, I'm an expert and my products are the best... blah, blah, yadda yadda..."

Unbelievable!

Now they not just Spam you using your own money -from your ads- but on top of it the get up set if you don't want the unsolicited information!

What do you think about it? Well, I hope it's clear for you. Down the road people wonder why Network Marketing is so frowned upon. Is evident. There is always people willing to sale their grandma, to sing up a new prospect.

If they intend to captivate other leaders attention to bring them to their team, these opportunists are completely wrong.

A Network Professional NEVER sends "unsolicited information". He doesn't invade others space.

We have ethics and an impeccable work system... we attract people with elegance, we don't profit by others networkers.

You are on this business working and focused into build a team.

Don't let anybody trying to sale their business when they call you, faking they are interested in yours.

Use your leader attitude. Handle the situation and the conversation with this kind of people.

Personally, I have some prospects-spammers on my list. But take advantage of this. When identified, just simply delete them from your mails. I don't want them to spam me, waist my time, and of course, I don't want them in my organization.

What's good on this? I didn't need to discard them. They did, so I save my time and effort. Not bad.

Well, as always, this is just an orientation. We are here to get some train, and learn. But you have to chose how to work; how to make people join you business.

Networker-Spammer or Networker Professional?

Hobby or Profession? I picked Profession.

For hobby, I prefer to do some sports….

-END OF QUOTE-

Just let me add some words and suggestions:

-When sending a mail to a group, take care of their privacy, how? - Send your e-mail to your self, and include your group on your BCC area (Blind Carbon Copy) They'll receive the message, but the rest will see just your e-mail address.

-And tag your message: "We take serious your privacy, if don't want to receive this messages, please reply "ERASE" on the subject and we'll stop sending mails to you". And DO IT!

I hope this information be helpful to build a strong team. "To have more.. we have to become more"... let's grow and learn together. Let's be a better person each day.

Thanks Vicky!
